wine box 14
Drop 14 is here: And it’s f*cking rare:
SAME GRAVITY. DIFFERENT ALTITUDE.
I’m beyond excited to share our delicious drop Nr. 14 with you!
Alizée & Thibault Tassin
Celles-sur-Ource, Champagne
In the far south of Champagne, where the hills roll gently through the Côte des Bar, Thibault Tassin is quietly reshaping what the region can be.
He grew up surrounded by vines — generations of his family have been growing grapes in Celles-sur-Ource for decades — but instead of simply continuing the story, he decided to rewrite it.
When Thibault and his partner Alizée began working their own tiny parcel of land, they made a deliberate choice: to work differently. To slow down. To let the vineyard speak before the winemaker does.
vibrant, grounded, and raw
Their world is measured in rows, not acres. Every vine is touched by hand. No chemicals, no shortcuts. In the cellar, wild yeasts take the lead; fermentations move at their own pace. Oak barrels and clay amphorae shape the wines softly, not with power but with patience.
The result is Champagne that feels alive — vibrant, grounded, and raw in the best way. Each bottle tells the story of a single place, a single year, and the quiet confidence of a winemaker who believes less is more.
Winery Seckinger
Freinsheim, Palatinate Forest
Jonas, Philipp, and Lukas Seckinger didn’t inherit a grand estate or generations of prestige.
They built everything themselves — starting from a few family plots in Niederkirchen, in Germany’s Pfalz region, and a shared belief that wine should be alive, raw, and real.
The goal isn't perfection, but honesty
From day one, the brothers took the long road: farming biodynamically, working every parcel by hand, fermenting with wild yeasts, and refusing to manipulate the outcome. Their goal wasn’t perfection, but honesty — to let the vineyards speak louder than the winemaker.
Each wine they produce reflects that conviction: vibrant, structured, full of tension and soul. The Seckinger style is precise but untamed — a blend of instinct and discipline that feels both modern and timeless.
They’re part of a new generation redefining what German wine can be — fearless, curious, and self-made.
ABOUT OUR WINE DROP 14
SAME GRAVITY. DIFFERENT ALTITUDE WITH TIBAULT TASSIN & WINERY SECKINGER
What we have in the box nr. 14:
Whenever we start working with new winemakers, we don’t always receive the same quantities of each cuvée — some are simply rarer than others. But I want that the Between Two Bottles family also gets a taste of the super rare stuff!
So, to make it happen, we’ve created two slightly different mixed boxes — both built around our all-time favorite, Seckinger’s 1 Tal.
We love this pairing — Tassin’s raw, energetic Champagne meets Seckinger’s razor-sharp, soulful Riesling.
Together they create that rare kind of tension we’re always chasing: brightness meets texture, spontaneity meets structure.
A dialogue between altitude and gravity — two bottles, one shared rhythm.
