wine box 13

Drop 13 is here. And it’s f*cking irresistible.

R | R – RUTHLESSLY REMARKABLE WITH LA ROGERIE & WINERY RINGS

I’m beyond excited to share our delicious wine drop Nr. 13 with you!

La ROGERIE

La Rogerie is a small, family-run estate that beautifully bridges two worlds: Champagne and Alsace. It was founded by Justine Boxler and François Petit, Together, they’ve built a project that’s as much about heritage as it is about vision.

Their approach is guided by respect for nature — no herbicides, no pesticides, just living soils and healthy vines. In Champagne, old vineyards in Avize, Oger, and Cramant form the heart of their work, producing precise, mineral Blanc de Blancs. In Alsace with the same philosophy, crafting crystalline whites that capture the soul of the region.

La Rogerie has quickly become one of the most talked-about new names in grower Champagne — admired for wines that feel both deeply rooted and refreshingly modern.

WINERY RINGS

Weingut Rings is one of the driving forces behind the new generation of German wine. Run by brothers Andreas and Steffen Rings in Freinsheim.

Their philosophy is rooted in organic farming, meticulous vineyard work, and an obsession with expressing the character of their soils. The result? Wines that are vibrant, pure, and full of energy. The Pinot from Rings has become nothing short of a benchmark in Germany — deep, elegant, and full of quiet confidence. And their sparkling wines stand among the very best I’ve ever had from Germany.

Rings is about precision and soul, about the courage to keep pushing boundaries while staying deeply connected to their land. It’s the taste of ambition done right.

ABOUT OUR WINE BOX

fifty shades of pinot

Vintage 2023 & 2024

Tino Kuban, Meursault

Tino Kuban is a shining example of the new wave in Burgundian natural winemaking, combining tradition with fearless innovation. His approach is rooted in biodynamic farming and minimal intervention, crafting wines that are raw, authentic, and a true reflection of their terroir. Unlike many, Kuban works exclusively with fruit from his own meticulously tended vineyards in Meursault and the Côte Chalonnaise, ensuring absolute control and integrity at every stage.

La Lumière Rouge 2023

La Lumière Rouge comes from Tino Kuban’s own Domaine Les Jardins Vivants vineyards. It is not just a Pinot Noir—it’s a pure expression of Kuban’s vision. Hand-harvested from low-yielding vines, fermented naturally with wild yeasts, and aged in new Stockinger barrels, this wine bursts with ripe cherry, wild berry, delicate spice, and a mineral-driven freshness. Silky and structured, it offers depth and vibrancy with a savory, lingering finish. The 2023 vintage stands as a fearless statement of natural Burgundy, showcasing the soul and power of Kuban’s own vineyards in every sip.

Jérémy Carteret, Rochepot

Jérémy Carteret is a dynamic young winemaker based in La Rochepot, Côte de Beaune, Burgundy. With roots deeply tied to Burgundy’s finest through a decade at Domaine Benjamin Leroux, Carteret launched his own estate, A Fleur de Peau, in 2022. His approach is fiercely organic and minimalist, letting the terroir speak loud and clear. His reds shine with fresh red fruit, balance, and a natural elegance that’s quickly gained cult status among lovers of authentic Burgundies.

Blanc de Noir 2023

The Blanc de Noir by Jérémy Carteret is almost mythical—produced in vanishingly small quantities only for BETWEEN TWO BOTTLES, this wine is NOT on the market at all. Made from select Pinot Noir grapes with ultra-minimal intervention, it bursts with wild character and a crazy, captivating reduction that gives it an edgy, smoky allure. This rare gem perfectly captures Carteret’s fearless style and deep dedication to pure, uncompromising expression.

Alessandro Salvano, Montelupo Albese

Alessandro Salvano is part of a bold new generation reshaping Piemonte’s wine narrative. Based just outside the Barolo zone, he doesn’t follow the rules—he rewrites them. With his project Drink Wines Not Labels (DWNL), Salvano strips away all the noise and focuses on what truly matters: raw, expressive, soulful wine. No dogma, no distractions—just grapes, soil, and instinct. His cellar work is ultra-low intervention, relying on wild ferments, no fining or filtering, and an honest, hands-off approach that lets the wine tell its own story.

DWNL Pinot Nero 2023

Pinot from Piemonte? Hell yes. Salvano’s 2023 Pinot Nero isn’t trying to mimic Burgundy—it’s something entirely its own. Grown in the Langhe hills, this wine is bright, lifted, and alive, packed with fresh cherry, crushed herbs, and a whisper of wild forest floor. It’s juicy, unfussy, but far from simple. A touch of reduction gives it a raw, electric edge, making it the kind of bottle you finish faster than you planned. This is Pinot with attitude—untamed, direct, and dangerously drinkable. A rebel in a bottle.
