DROP 3

Drop 3 - ENSEMBLE BOX

Isabel Claire is the kind of person who didn’t “get into wine” — she jumped in head first. After a first career far away from vineyards, she trained hands-on at Maison Glandien and Les Jardins Vivants, learning the real work in Meursault and Mercurey alongside Tino Kuban. In 2023 she bottled her first own Pinot Noir from organically farmed 60-year-old vines in Mercurey. Tiny production, no makeup, no noise — just a very personal, very Burgundian statement.

Jérémy Carteret is Burgundy’s quiet perfectionist. Shaped by serious roots and serious experience, with family inspiration linked to Domaine du Comte Armand and time at Domaine Benjamin Leroux, he now works essentially on his own, pushing for purity with a deep respect for nature. Organic and biodynamic in spirit, meticulous in execution, his wines feel transparent and precise — the kind of bottles that don’t try to impress you, they simply do.

Inside the box

Isabel Claire – Apprendre à Marcher

Isabel Claire 2023 is my first own Pinot Noir project, born in Mercurey from around 60-year-old organically farmed vines. Gentle vinification, ageing in used oak, because I wanted freshness and elegance, not loud power. It’s all about delicate red berries, a hint of violet, subtle spice, and that quiet mineral structure that makes you come back for another sip. Personal, precise, and very much a love letter to the Côte Chalonnaise.

Jeremy Carteret – Euphoria

Jeremy Carteret Euphoria 2023 comes from a tiny parcel in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and feels like Burgundy with the volume turned down but the tension turned up. Whole cluster fermentation, low intervention, and ageing split between used barrels and a 600L clay vessel for extra texture and lift. The result is pure red fruit, bright energy, and a transparent, honest kind of elegance. Minimal sulphur, bottled by hand, and dangerously drinkable.
