The philosophy remains beautifully uncompromising. The vineyards are farmed biodynamically, grapes are harvested by hand, and the wines are made with minimal intervention. Gentle pressing, long ageing in used barrels and only tiny amounts of sulphur allow the character of the fruit and terroir to shine through.

What makes these wines so special is their ability to combine incredible concentration with freshness and energy. They are generous without being heavy, powerful without losing elegance, and often need a little patience to reveal their full potential.

For me, Sansonnière is one of those domaines that reminds us why we fell in love with wine in the first place. And with Martial now writing the next chapter, the story is far from over.
