Drop 13 - R | R RUTHLESSLY REMARKABLE

La Rogerie & Rings Winery

La Rogerie is a young, family-run Champagne house founded by Justine Boxler and François Petit, connecting Alsatian roots with the chalky terroirs of Avize, Oger, and Cramant. They farm organically and focus on living soils, crafting Champagnes that are elegant, mineral, and pure. Their wines express both tradition and a fresh, modern sensibility — precise, balanced, and deeply tied to place.

Weingut Rings, led by brothers Andreas and Steffen Rings in Freinsheim (Pfalz), has become one of Germany’s most respected producers. They work organically and meticulously in the vineyards, believing great wine starts with healthy soil. Their Rieslings, Pinot Noirs, and sparkling wines show clarity, structure, and vitality, capturing the cool energy of the limestone-rich Pfalz.

La Rogerie “Bourg/Sud” Réserve Perpétuelle 18–22
This Blanc de Blancs is made entirely from Grand Cru Chardonnay grown in Avize and Oger on the Côte des Blancs. Produced using the réserve perpétuelle method that blends wines from 2018 to 2022, it’s fermented partly in oak and aged for several years on the lees. The vineyards are organically and biodynamically farmed, emphasizing soil vitality, biodiversity, and manual vineyard care. The wine reflects both the finesse of its chalk terroir and La Rogerie’s detailed craftsmanship.

La Rogerie “Chemin de Chalons” 2020
A Grand Cru Chardonnay from Avize and Cramant, grown on deep chalk soils. Fermented and aged for 11 months in 228-liter French oak barrels, then aged around 48 months on the lees before release. The vineyard management follows organic principles with low yields and precise handwork. Only about 2,200 bottles were produced, making this a limited and highly site-expressive cuvée.

La Rogerie “Champ Bouton” 2020
A single-vineyard Grand Cru Chardonnay from Avize, sourced from a 0.35-hectare parcel of old vines rooted in very shallow chalk. Farmed organically and entirely by hand, the wine is fermented in oak and aged long on the lees (around 48 months).

Rings “Calcaire” 2020
Produced by Weingut Rings in Freinsheim (northern Pfalz, Germany), this wine comes from limestone-rich vineyards that define its character. It’s grown organically, with low yields and careful soil management. Fermentation occurs partly in large oak casks (Stückfass and Doppelstückfass) and partly in steel, resulting in a more oxidative, textured style that highlights structure and depth rather than primary fruit. The wine represents Rings’ philosophy of precision through natural, expressive winemaking rooted in limestone terroir.

Drop 12 - Les 3 Amis

Jeremy Carteret, Tino Kuban& Isabel Claire

Jérémy Carteret grew up surrounded by vineyards and worked with respected names such as Benjamin Leroux and Domaine du Comte Armand before starting his own project in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. His approach is minimalist: whole-cluster fermentations, native yeasts, and no additives. His wines, like his Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Euphoria, show purity and freshness while keeping a clear Burgundian identity.

Tino Kuban, originally from Berlin, trained and worked in some of the world’s most diverse regions — from South Africa and New Zealand to the Rhône and the Jura — before settling in Burgundy. With Maison Glandien and Les Jardins Vivants, he focuses on biodynamic farming, low yields, and precise, transparent winemaking. His wines are expressive yet refined, showing how curiosity and discipline can meet in the glass.

Isabel Claire (Isabel Zentgraf) found her way to wine after a first career in a completely different field. She trained and worked at Maison Glandien and Les Jardins Vivants, where she learned hands-on winemaking and vineyard work in Meursault and Mercurey. In 2023, she produced her first Pinot Noir from 60-year-old vines in Mercurey — a small, elegant expression of Burgundy made with care and respect for the vineyard.

Jérémy Carteret – “Euphoria” (Hautes-Côtes de Beaune)
From a tiny 0.40-hectare organic plot in Fussey, Euphoria shows what Burgundy can be in the hands of a precise and thoughtful winemaker. Fermented with 100% whole clusters and aged partly in seasoned barrels and a 600L clay jar, the wine combines energy, texture, and transparency. Minimal sulfur and hand bottling underline Carteret’s artisanal approach. Vibrant, pure, and expressive, Euphoria represents a modern yet deeply authentic vision of Pinot Noir.

Tino Kuban – “L’Ouverture Rosé” 2024 (Maison Glandien)
Tino Kuban’s L’Ouverture Rosé is crafted with the same care and intensity as his Pinot Noirs. Made from Côte Chalonnaise fruit harvested early in the morning, it’s fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts and aged in seasoned oak from Les Jardins Vivants. The result is a rosé that’s both vibrant and textural — a wine of precision, complexity, and elegance. Minimal intervention highlights its purity, placing it among the most refined and ambitious rosés in Burgundy.

Drinking recommendation: NOW

Isabel Claire – “Claire” 2024 (Mercurey)
The second vintage of Isabel Claire’s Pinot Noir comes from 60-year-old, organically farmed vines in Mercurey. Naturally low yields give concentration and depth, while gentle fermentation and aging in used oak preserve freshness and finesse. Aromas of red berries, violets, and subtle spice unfold with a mineral backbone. The wine is delicate yet structured, showing both authenticity and charm — a deeply personal expression of Isabel’s thoughtful style and respect for terroir.

Drop 11 -Outside

Tino kuban & alessandro salvan

Alessandro Salvano is a maverick in the world of Piedmontese winemaking, a region steeped in tradition yet often bound by rules. Salvano doesn’t just follow the path of Barolo — he steps outside of it. His vineyard, located just outside the official Barolo zone, sits on the same prestigious soils, but the philosophy is a world apart. With his DWNL (Drink Wines Not Labels) mantra, Salvano seeks to let the Nebbiolo grape speak for itself, without the weight of tradition or the interference of modern winemaking techniques. He embraces the purity and transparency of the wine, crafting each bottle with minimal intervention — using whole-cluster fermentation and native yeasts. For him, it’s not about showing off a label; it’s about letting the essence of the grape shine, much like the unadorned, elegant wines of Burgundy. Salvano is rewriting the story of Barolo, one bottle at a time, and the result is something truly unique.

Tino Kuban is an emerging star in Burgundy, redefining négociant winemaking with his Domaine Maison Glandien. With a strong focus on quality and innovation, Kuban works with old vines and employs biodynamic and organic farming practices. His wines are known for their structure, precision, and remarkable finesse, reflecting both the influence of Burgundy and his unique touch

Outside 2021 by Alessandro Salvano:
Outside 2021 is not just a wine; it’s a statement. A bold departure from the conventions of Barolo, it’s a wine born at the edge of the region — quite literally, just outside the official Barolo zone. The vines here sit on the same prized soils and face the same sun-drenched exposures, yet the wine takes a different path. Made with minimal intervention, Salvano’s Outside is an expression of what Nebbiolo can be when it’s allowed to speak without the constraints of tradition. With whole-cluster fermentation and native yeasts, it has an honesty and transparency that lets the purity of the grape shine through. There’s no makeup, no artifice — just the essence of Nebbiolo, in all its delicate beauty. This is a wine that invites you to rethink what Barolo (and Nebbiolo) can be, offering an unpolished, raw glimpse into the grape’s true soul.

Les Roches Rouge 2023 by Tino Kuban:
Les Roches Rouge 2023 is a wine of remarkable tension and structure. Sourced from 70-year-old Pinot Noir vines in the Clos de la Roche, nestled between Santenay and Mercurey, it carries the weight of history and the precision of modern winemaking. The clay-limestone soils of this iconic Burgundy vineyard impart a mineral clarity, while the wine’s fine balance between fruit, acidity, and structure reveals a depth that lingers long after the last sip. The 2023 vintage is youthful yet poised, with a quiet strength that comes from old vines and careful, organic farming. Every glass is a reminder of the timeless elegance of Burgundy’s terroir, but with an energy that feels fresh and alive.

Drinking recommendation: END OF 26 or DECANTE it!

Le Freddie Rouge 2023 by Tino Kuban:
Le Freddie Rouge 2023 tells a different side of Burgundy, one marked by darker fruits and deep complexity. Coming from the marl-rich slopes of Mercurey, this wine is built from 70-year-old vines that yield a Pinot Noir with a rich, layered character. The nose is inviting, with dark berries and earthy notes that lead into a palate of velvety tannins and a vibrant, almost electric energy. There’s a certain elegance to this wine, a finesse that is signature to Tino’s hand, yet it carries a depth that suggests the potential for aging. Le Freddie Rouge is a wine that reveals itself slowly, with each sip bringing new layers of flavor, from the fruit to the subtle spice and mineral undertones. It’s Burgundy at its best — both graceful and complex, yet always approachable.

Drop 10 - Mixed martial arts

La Ferme de la Sansonnière & Tino Kuban

Martial Angeli continues the legacy of his father, Mark Angeli, at La Ferme de la Sansonnière in Anjou — one of the pioneering estates for biodynamic wine in the Loire. With deep respect for nature and zero compromise on purity, Martial crafts intense, soulful wines from Chenin Blanc, Grolleau, and Cabernet Franc. Everything is done by hand, with wild ferments, minimal intervention, and often no added sulfur. The result? Raw, living wines that speak of their schist and limestone soils — vibrant, electric, sometimes wild. Not for everyone, but unforgettable for those who get it.

Tino Kuban is one of those new Burgundian winemakers you should keep on your radar. With his own label Maison Glandien and his work at Les Jardins Vivants, he’s shaping a style that’s both rooted in Burgundy and refreshingly forward-looking.

We’re excited to feature Tino in several of our drops — just scroll down and discover.

So we created a mixed case: 5 different wines from Martial, and 5 different Origine wines from Tino.

I know, we all love this combo — Martial’s expressive wines alongside Tino’s Origine range. A perfect mix of discovery and a name we already can’t get enough of!

His approach is rooted in biodynamic farming and minimal intervention, crafting wines that are raw, authentic, and a true reflection of their terroir. Unlike many, Kuban works exclusively with fruit from his own meticulously tended vineyards in Meursault and the Côte Chalonnaise.

Jérémy Carteret is a dynamic young winemaker based in La Rochepot, Côte de Beaune, Burgundy. With roots deeply tied to Burgundy’s finest through a decade at Domaine Benjamin Leroux, Carteret launched his own estate, A Fleur de Peau, in 2022. His approach is fiercely organic and minimalist, letting the terroir speak loud and clear.

Alessandro Salvano – DWNL Pinot Nero 2023

Pinot from Piemonte? Hell yes. Salvano’s 2023 Pinot Nero isn’t trying to mimic Burgundy—it’s something entirely its own. Grown in the Langhe hills, this wine is bright, lifted, and alive, packed with fresh cherry, crushed herbs, and a whisper of wild forest floor. It’s juicy, unfussy, but far from simple. A touch of reduction gives it a raw, electric edge, making it the kind of bottle you finish faster than you planned. This is Pinot with attitude—untamed, direct, and dangerously drinkable. A rebel in a bottle.
